Movie "Drive" to be streamed on Netflix
Sushant Singh Rajput is an Indian film actor, dancer,
television personality, entrepreneur and philanthropist. Rajput started
his career with television serials. His debut show was Star Plus’s romantic
drama “Kis Desh Mein Hai Meraa Dil(2008)”, followed by an award-winning
performance in Zee TV’s popular soap opera “Pavitra Rishta (2009-2011)”. He was born on 21
January 1986 in Patna, Bihar. He has given many super hit films from 2013 to
2019, and one of those movies is “Drive”.
Drive is a 2019 Indian Hindi-language action film written,
edited and directed by Tarun Mansukhani and produced by Hiroo Yash Johar,
Karan Johar and Apoorva Mehta under Dharma Productions. Starring Sushant Singh
Rajput, Jacqueline Fernandez, Vikramjeet Virk, and Sapna Pabbi, the story of the
film revolves around the manhunt for an infamous ‘King’ for a robbery of 300
Kilograms of gold. An undercover agent infiltrates a street racing gang who is
chasing the King. The film was scheduled to release on 7 September 2018 but
was pushed to 28 June 2019, now it will be streamed on Netflix from 1 November
2019.
After multiple release-day shifts, Karan Johar, producer of
Drive, skipped the idea of showcasing his film on the big screen and opted to
release it on Netflix instead. After watching the film, you will sympathize
with Karan’s decision, but will also question-was it really necessary to
release the film at all? Don’t bother
about logic in Drive. The entire team did not bother about it either. The
actors in the film can race from India Gate to Chhatarpur and reach the Indira
Gandhi International Airport from Rashtrapati Bhavan in the blink of an eye. In
real-life Delhi, that drive will take 12 hours off your life. Difficult to
swallow?
The reviews of this movie is not so good because it has 1
star out of 5 stars. This is quite possibly the worst heist drama Bollywood has
ever seen.
